Graphic Design/Printing Technology Program

The creativity of graphic designers can be seen almost anywhere you look. Step inside any supermarket in the world and you will see thousands of examples of logo designs, packaging labels, point-of-purchase displays, magazines, and more! But graphic design is more than just decoration.  As American designer Charles Eames famously said, “Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose.” In our Graphic Design/Print Technology program you will learn how to take your ideas from concept to completion.

You will work with the same hardware and software that industry pros use, including Apple iMacs; Intel-based PCs; design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat, and packaging software including ArtiosCAD and Studio. This will prepare you to work as an entry-level designer in advertising agencies, design studios, packaging companies, and more. Or you could even strike it out on your own as a freelance designer.

Our unique Live Shop experience gives you the chance to work with real clients and real deadlines. You’ll work as a team to meet the demands and expectations of your clients under the supervision of instructors with years of real-world experience.
