Welcome to the KinderCollege

LC State's KinderCollege provides care for the children of LC State students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the community. 

The KinderCollege is licensed by the City of Lewiston to provide care for children six weeks to six years of age, collaborates with IdahoStars, and is nationally accredited through NECPA.

About Us

Our childcare program nurtures and supports each child's social, cognitive, emotional, and physical growth while offering opportunities for self-exploration and discovery. We create learning experiences that promote a positive self-image in every child. LC KinderCollege collaborates closely with the Education and Early Childhood Programs to develop a curriculum tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. Our lessons strike a balance between child-led and teacher-led activities, individual and group interactions, as well as quiet and active periods.

Rates

The Annual Registration Fee is $40. We offer rates for Community, Faculty, Staff, and Students. To inquire about openings, place your name on the waiting list, or view the center please call, email, or stop by!

Hours

We operate year-round, 12 months a year, and are open Mon.-Fri. from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Closures align with LC State's holiday calendar and are announced in advance.

"The KinderCollege treats you like family and makes a parent able to trust that their child will be safe with them. When our son became allergic to peanuts, the KinderCollege took the necessary steps to ensure he would be safe. By having a place to take my son for childcare, I was able to not have to stress about where my child would have to go when I would be in classes and studying.
