Mental Health Awareness Week in CDA
October 21st-25th
Take part in Mental Health Awareness Week and learn about the different ways that our mental health can affect our everyday lives.
This event is a drop-in style event throughout the week of October 21st-25th. Each day a different topic related to mental health will be presented on a display board in the DeArmond Building lobby. Associated pamphlets and activities will be located near the display boards.

Fall 2024 Mental Health Week Topics
Monday 10/21 | "What Does it Mean to be Neurodivergent?" |
Tuesday 10/22 | "How to Care for Your Mental Health in the Digital World." |
Wednesday 10/23 | "Finding Balance in Your Life to Promote Mental Well-being." A representative from SafePassages will be tabling from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM in the DeArmond Lobby. |
Thursday 10/24 | DIY Aromatherapy Crafting and Take Home Kinetic Sand. |
Friday 10/25 | Take a tour of the S.W.R.C. and participate in a one-hour yoga and meditation class for free! Meet at the DeArmond Building Lobby at 12:25 pm and walk over with instructor Teresa Simmons at 12:30 pm. The yoga and meditation class will be from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. |
