Responsibilities:  Instruct paralegal and legal support assistant students on the duties and responsibilities of the legal professional; discuss legal ethics and the importance of professionalism; review law office procedures, including the preparation of legal documents, filing procedures and legal research; and review the state and federal court systems and administrative agencies.

Responsibilities: Administer in-house procedures to two attorneys and three support staff; responsible for management of IOLTA (trust) accounts and business operating accounts; maintain attorney licensure and continuing education reporting; supervise accounts payable and receivable; draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, contracts, deeds, estate planning documents and leases; draft mediation submittals; assist in the drafting and finalization of trial memoranda; attend court hearings and trials, as needed; maintain attorney calendars and deadlines.

Litigation Paralegal, December 1999-June 2005--Irwin, Myklebust, Savage & Brown, P.S.

Responsibilities: Lead paralegal for three full-time litigation attorneys; drafted correspondence, pleadings and discovery; drafted mediation submittals; drafted settlement demands; organized and summarized medical records; organized hearing and trial notebooks; and maintained calendars and deadlines for attorneys' practice.

Legislative Intern for In-House Legal Counsel, U.S. Senator Larry E. Craig, United States Senate, May 1999-August 1999

Responsibilities:  Attended legislative sub-committee and committee hearings; prepared  written summaries of hearings attended and subjects discussed; assisted in-house legal counsel with drafting memorandums, correspondence and research; open, sorted and drafted responsive letters to Idaho constituents; and gave U.S. Capitol Building tours to Idaho constituents.

Biography

In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, camping and traveling.  Natalie is originally from Klamath Falls, Oregon and resides with her family in Lewiston.
