Emergency Loans
The following criteria is required to be eligible for emergency funds:
- Students must be currently enrolled at least half-time, ineligible for adequate funding through the Financial Aid office, and exhibit financial need that would otherwise impact their ability to remain enrolled at LC State.
The Moss Family of Lewiston, Idaho and representatives of Lewis-Clark State College have established a fund in support of student emergency or crisis loans. This fund will be designated in honor of the late Oma Moss and Van Moss. Mrs. Moss was employed by the College for 23 years and Mr. Moss was a former faculty member. Applications start in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
The Rose Ann Hopkins Trust of Lewiston, Idaho, the Lewis-Clark State College Foundation, and Lewis-Clark State College have established a fund in support of student loans/scholarships. This fund to be used to fund educational loans and scholarships in the name of the Settlor, Rose Ann Perott Hopkins, class of 1935. Applications start in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
A student emergency loan fund was established in 2020, and provides eligible students with assistance in resolving financial issues that would otherwise impact their ability to remain enrolled at LC State. Applications start with the Director of Financial Aid.
