Requirements

Active participation consists of twelve hours minimum of service (six hours completed in each of the two semesters). Service hours do not need to be obtained in consecutive semesters; however, three of the six service hours each semester must be served at campus sponsored events.

Upon graduation, Ambassador Honor Society members who complete the requisite volunteer service hours are listed in the LC State Commencement program and are provided with a gold tassel to wear on their mortar board. AHS members are the only organization with these methods of recognition.
