Spring 2025 Registration

Registration for Spring 2025 is now open! 

Make sure you've completed these steps. Failing to complete any of these steps will prevent you from registering. 

  • Monday, November 11th: Priority Registration opens at 7AM for enrolled LC State Seniors (90+ earned credits) and Post-baccalaureates.
  • Tuesday, November 12th: Priority Registration opens at 7AM for enrolled LC State Juniors (58-89 earned credits) and above.
  • Wednesday, November 13th: Priority Registration opens at 7AM for enrolled LC State Sophomores (26-57 earned credits) and above.
  • Thursday, November 14th: Priority Registration opens at 7AM for enrolled LC State Freshman and above.
  • Friday, November 15th: Open Registration begins at 7AM. All students, LC State and Newly Admitted may register/add classes on Warrior Web.

What Section is Right for Me?

Face-to-face

Sections 01, 02, etc.

  • Faculty and students attend class in an assigned classroom or lab, at a fixed and regular meeting time. Sometimes some students attend class through video conferencing such as Zoom.
  • Technology needed: computer with an internet connection, webcam, microphone, and headphones/speakers for in-class participation and to complete course assignments.

Virtual Remote

Sections 01V-29V

  • Every class session occurs through video conferencing like Zoom, at a fixed and regular time. Generally, there is no assigned campus classroom.
  • Technology needed: computer with an internet connection, webcam, microphone, and headphones/speakers for in-class participation and to complete course assignments.

Labs

Sections 50-59

  • Faculty and students attend class in an assigned lab, at a fixed and regular meeting time for hands-on learning. Sometimes some students attend class through video conferencing such as Zoom.
  • Technology needed: Computer with an internet connection, webcam, microphone, and headphones/speakers for in-class participation and to complete course assignments.

Online

Sections 60-69

  • All coursework and class assignments are completed in Canvas, on your own time. No classroom is assigned.
  • Technology needed: computer with an internet connection, and speakers to complete course assignments.

Hybrid

Sections 70-79

  • The course is split between face-to-face and online class sessions. Face-to-face class sessions occur at a fixed meeting time in an assigned classroom. Sometimes the face-to-face sessions occur through video conferencing like Zoom. The online portion is completed in Canvas on your own time.
  • Technology needed: computer with an internet connection, webcam, microphone, and headphones/speakers for in-class participation and to complete course assignments.

8-Week Sessions

Sections xxA or xxB

8-Week sessions are accelerated classes available during the first (A) or second (B) half of the semester.

Fall 2024 session dates:

  • Session A: 8/19/24 - 10/11/24
  • Session B: 10/14/24 - 12/12/24

Spring 2025 session dates:

  • Session A: 1/13/25 - 3/07/25
  • Session B: 3/10/25 - 5/08/25

Sections starting with Q, X, or J

  • Students who can enroll in these sections are part of a program-specific cohort

Coeur d'Alene Sections

Sections 7501 or 7570

These sections are held face-to-face in Coeur d’Alene at the DeArmond Building on the NIC campus. The second two numbers of the section follow the regular rules for sections listed above. For example, 7501 is a regular face-to-face course taught in CDA whereas 7570 is a Hybrid course taught in CDA.
