About Nikki
Personal Background
After being raised in Southern Idaho and spending a few years in Lewiston during my teenage years, I returned to the LC Valley in 2018 when I accepted a teaching position. In my free time, I love adventuring and enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, kayaking, and spending time with family, as much as possible.
Professional Background
In addition to my educational background, I have worked in industry in various positions including web design specialist, e-commerce and content developer, social media specialist, web director and developer, and graphic designer.
Teaching Style
I believe that we all have something to offer each other and the program through rich interactions and the mutual sharing of knowledge. Critical thinking and problem-solving are crucial skills necessary to be successful in the web design and development field, along with many others. I am always happy to help guide a student toward finding a solution when they are an active participant in researching a problem. I am a firm believer that you will get as much out of any program as the effort you put in and will do my very best to facilitate a positive learning experience!
I am thrilled to be a part of the Web Design and Development program at LC State and look forward to working with my students every semester!
