Fitness Center Guidelines
Admittance to the Fitness Center (FC) is by WarriorOne card only. Students and other individuals without cards will not be admitted.
Basic Admission Philosophy and Waiver Policy
The Lewis-Clark State College Fitness Center (the "FC") was constructed to serve as a recreational facility for the benefit of Lewis-Clark State College students, faculty, and staff. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, it is designed to serve the needs of Physical Education students, athletes, and the campus community in general.
It is not intended to serve the needs of the general public as the community is well served with commercial recreational fitness establishments and LC State is cognizant of the need to avoid competition with private vendors in this arena. Due to issues of liability for injury, children under the age of 18 will not be allowed access to the facility except for scheduled classes and as registered LC State students. Certain other past and present members of the campus community may be provided access via paid membership as provided in the Admission Policy Statement, below. All authorized users are required to complete a Fitness Center Waiver (form available on WarriorWeb as well as at the FC) prior to using the facility. The Waiver is available on WarriorWeb and at the Fitness Center. All non-student or non-faculty/staff patrons who are required to pay for a membership as outlined below, will fill out the waiver form at the time of membership payment at the information desk in the Student Union Building/Center for Student Leadership. These hard copies will be scanned and emailed to VPFinanceAdmin@lcsc.edu.
Admission Policy Statement
The following potential users have been identified for consideration for admission to the FC. Where admission is denied, a brief justification is provided. [Note: All individuals in any of the categories listed below are required to sign a Fitness Center Waiver, found on the WarriorWeb, prior to using the facility.]
Full-time students - Admission granted without charge for all full-time students who have an active Student ID Card.
Part-time students - Admission granted without charge for part-time students registered for one or more credits with an active Student ID Card. Students attending non-credit courses are not eligible.
Summer School students - Summer School students attending for credit will be granted admission to the FC, with a Student ID Card. Students who attended in the Fall/Spring or Spring only will have access to the FC throughout the summer.
Full-time faculty and staff - Admission granted without charge for all faculty and staff who have an active employee identification card.
Part-time faculty and staff - Admission granted without charge for part-time faculty and staff who have an active employee identification card. This benefit is also provided to irregular help staff during the term of their employment.

active employee identification card through emeritus status. Spouses are eligible to purchase
membership to the FC. A one-year membership may be purchased for $100.
Alumni- (FC definition) Students who have graduated from or have completed at least 24 credits at LC State are eligible to purchase a membership to the FC. A one-year membership may be purchased for $100. Spouses of alumni can also purchase a one-year membership for $100.
Spouses of students, faculty, staff, and retirees- Spouses of students, faculty, staff, and retirees are eligible to purchase membership to the FC. A one-year membership may be purchased for $100.
College affiliates - Employees of College affiliates (e.g., Sodexo) are eligible to purchase membership to the FC. A one-year membership may be purchased for $100.
General Public and Friends of the College - The General Public, Donors, Foundation Board Members and other friends of the College are not eligible to use the FC. If access were provided to college donors it would potentially jeopardize the tax deductibility of their contributions.
