Utilizing Your Canvas Account
Canvas is the learning management system where you can find any assignments instructors have uploaded, as well as your syllabus for the class, etc.
You can go directly to Canvas by using Single Sign On (SSO) through the WarriorHub to access Canvas.
Go to WarriorHub (https://www.lcsc.edu/warriorhub) to log in to the Single Sign-On portal. After clicking on the “WarriorHub Sign In” the user will need to select/enter the Warrior Student email that is affiliated with LC State College. Then you will be prompted to enter your student email password.
Once your login goes through, click the blue “Get Started” button and follow the prompts to log in to WarriorHub.
If you do not see the Canvas application on your dashboard interface, scroll down and click on the “Discover More” button to find and bookmark it (upper right-hand corner of the app) to save it to the dashboard home screen.
- All classes traditionally go "live" in Canvas the Friday before the class is scheduled to begin.
- If you just added a course, it will take several hours for it to appear in Canvas; it may take until the following day if you add the class in the evening.

If you are experiencing other technical difficulties you can click the "Help" button at the bottom of the Canvas login page or you can visit our eLearning page.
By default your Canvas account will send you the maximum amount of notifications.
To change this setting and de-clutter your inbox follow these steps:
- After logging in, click on the "Account" button on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Select "Notifications"
- You will now be able to select which notifications you would like to receive and how often you would like to receive them.
