Talent Search (TS) is a federally funded TRIO program serving students aged 11-27, focusing on those whose families are on a limited income and whose parents did not graduate with a four-year college degree. The goal of Talent Search is to increase students' potential to attend post-high school education.
The Clearwater Valley TS program serves schools in Timberline, Orofino, Kooskia, Grangeville, and Kamiah. This Talent Search project is 100% federally funded, at $328,413 annually. Nationwide, over 387,600 individuals are enrolled in 471 TS projects. The LCSC TS project will serve 592 students in five schools in Northern Idaho.
