Marco Antonio Ortiz , BSW

Originally from Glenns Ferry, Idaho and graduating high school from Glenns Ferry High School; Marco Antonio attended Lewis-Clark State College from 2016-2020 where he received his Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). As an undergrad, he was active in many organizations including the LC Work Scholars Program and Residence Life. He was also a part of the first cohort for the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) during the 2016-2017 school year. Equipped with passion to help others and degree from LC State Marco Antonio served the Lewis-Clark Valley as a case manager for the Idaho Region 2 Area Agency on Aging. After connecting families with community resources, he felt a calling to help the next generation of college graduates which led him to pursue recruitment as a career. He was able to come back to LC State, this time as an employee, to recruit students from the Pacific Northwest. He currently resides in Lewiston, Idaho as one of the Enrollment Specialists. Marco Antonio is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
