Student-to-faculty ratio is defined as total Full Time Enrollment students (not in graduate or professional programs) divided by total Full Time Enrollment instructional staff (not teaching in graduate or professional programs).

This data comes from the IPEDS data files, ef[academic year]D (ex. ef2022D), that contain data on the total entering class, first-year retention rates and the student-to-faculty ratio.
