Presale is under way for t-shirts for the 29th Annual Dogwood Festival. Shirts are just $10 until April 1. The design for this year's shirt was created by Tracy Randall, a graphic designer working at Washington State University. Tracy is a practicing artist with a public studio at the Dahmen Artisan Barn in Uniontown, WA as well as a shop (tracycreative) on Etsy.com. She earned her BFA with an emphasis in graphic design from the University of Idaho.
Shirts are available at the Clearwater Credit Union, 320 15th Street, or the Blue Lantern Coffee House, 326 Main Street, Lewiston and the Center for Arts and History/Dogwood Festival Office, 415 Main Street, Lewiston. After April 1, shirt prices are $12.00
The Dogwood Festival kicks off on April 6 with "Refresh the Valley" - a spring cleanup and beautification event sponsored by Beautiful Downtown Lewiston and the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce.
A memorial exhibit dedicated to the art of former Valley resident Stephen Lyman opens on April 9 at the Center for Arts and History. Local elementary students show their Dogwood artwork through April 26.
The Lewiston All Breed Dog Show takes place April 19 - 22 at the Nez Perce County Fair Building and is coordinated by the LC Kennel Club.
Confluence Grape and Grain, a beer and wine tasting and auction, benefiting the LCSC Center for Arts and History as well as the LCSC Business Students Organization, is Friday, April 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 and available at the Center for Arts and History.
The Dogwood Dunk 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, sponsored by LCSC Athletics, is Saturday, April 20. Registration before April 16th is $65 per team; late registration is $75. Spectator admission is free. Contact LCSC Athletics for more information: 208.792.2274.

The 36th Annual Seaport River Run, Saturday, April 27, sponsored by Lewiston Parks and Recreation. Cost to participate is $16 with a t-shirt and $9 without. Proceeds for this year's run benefit the Lewiston Civic Theatre Children's Program.
The 28th Annual Seaport Quilt Guild Show also takes place on Saturday April 27 and Sunday, April 28 at the Clarkston High School Gym from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday.
A celebration of beautiful classic and contemporary cars, trucks and trikes from the Inland Northwest takes place with the Dogwood Show and Shine, Saturday April 27 along the west side of the LCSC campus. The two signature events of the Dogwood Festival are featured the weekend of April 26 - 28, including:
The Annual Art Under the Elms, a 3-day artisan fair with over 100 local, regional and national artists, over 20 food vendors and a Family Fun Fair, and live entertainment on two open air stages. The Fair takes place Friday, April 26 through Sunday April 28 on the LCSC College campus green. Cost is $3 for 3-day pass. Proceeds support the LCSC Continuing Education and Community Events program.
The weekend culminates with the Dogwood Concert, featuring "Shambala" – an evening with Three Dog Night" (tribute band). The concert takes place at Boomer's Garden, Saturday April 27 at 7 p.m. Tickets are general admission and go on sale March 27 - presale $15 and $20 at the gate.
