LEWISTON, Idaho - A legislative forum featuring Idaho District 6 legislators discussing the current legislative session will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Sacajawea Hall room 115 on the Lewis-Clark State College campus. Lewis-Clark State College and the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting the forum.
Sen. Dan Johnson and Reps. John Rusche and Thyra Stevenson will give opening statements and then take questions from the audience. The forum is free and open to the public.
Johnson serves as Vice President of the Transportation Committee and also is on the Joint Finance-Appropriations and Local Government & Taxation committees. Rusche is the House Minority Leader and serves on the Business, Health & Welfare, Ways & Means, and Environment, Energy & Technology committees. Stevenson is on the Agriculture Affairs, Joint Finance-Appropriations, and Business committees.
District 6 encompasses Nez Perce and Lewis counties.
Sacajawea Hall is located on the southwest corner of 7th Avenue and 5th Street in Lewiston, across from the LCSC library. Free parking is available in the lot on the east side of Sacajawea Hall and the 4th Street lot on the west side.
