LEWISTON, Idaho – The community is invited to join with Lewis-Clark State College students, faculty, and staff in commemorating the events of September 11th, 2001 by serving the Lewiston-Clarkston communities as part of the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance. To accommodate student schedules, volunteer projects will be held this Saturday, September 13. Sign-ups begin at 9:30 a.m. at the outdoor amphitheater by the Student Union Building on the LCSC campus or you can register online at http://tinyurl.com/9-11LCSC.
Service projects will be offsite and will run from 10:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. Community service partners include Beautiful Downtown Lewiston, Idaho Veterans Home, Habitat for Humanity Store, Head Start, St. Vincent de Paul, LCSC Learning Corps, Interlink, and Idaho Fish and Game.
