LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College will open its doors to Lewiston’s 350 third graders for the fourth annual Systems Day on Friday, Nov. 20, hosted by the LCSC Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
The elementary students are given the opportunity to learn about science systems through fun, hands-on math, physics and biology experiments. They will also watch a chemistry magic show and write about their experiences.
Over 50 LCSC students and faculty from the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and across campus volunteer for the day. They work directly with the elementary school students on their activities and the day has proven to be an enjoyable learning experience for all.
Most of the activities will be hosted in the Williams Conference Center, though the magic show will take place in the Activity Center West Auxiliary Gym. For more information call 208-792-2268.
