LEWISTON, Idaho – The 32nd Annual Art Under the Elms, the signature events of the Dogwood Festival, will be held April 22-24 on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College. The Dogwood Show & Shine is April 23.
Art Under the Elms features an artisan fair with over 100 of the region’s finest artists, along with regional entertainers on two stages, family-friendly activities, food vendors, and attractions for all ages spanning the three days. The event schedule for Friday, April 22, is noon to 7 p.m.; on Saturday, April 23, it is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and on Sunday, April 24, it’ll run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Attractions include the Kids' Interactive Art Tent, Oasis Interactive Tent for artisan demonstrations and musicians, the Tea Fairy Tent, Family Fun Fair, SUB amphitheater stage performances, and an international-style food court offering flavors from around the world.
Admission for all three days is $3 and includes entry to the Artisan Green, Dogwood Tea Fairy Tent, and the Family Fun Fair for the entire weekend. Admission to the SUB Amphitheater and Artisan Food Court is free. All proceeds benefit personal enrichment continuing education programming at LCSC.
Included in the weekend’s activities on campus is the Dogwood Show & Shine on Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in LCSC’s Fourth Street parking lot. Admission is free. Car registration is $15 with car check-in from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Five Judges Choice Ribbons will be awarded, and a Sponsors Choice $250 prize will be awarded in the Car/Truck and Motorcycle/Trike categories. The major sponsor of the Show & Shine is the LC Auto Dealers Association.
