LEWISTON, Idaho – A Kamiah workshop on resources to start a business and another workshop on social media in Riggins highlights two July offerings by the North Central Idaho Small Business Development Center at Lewis-Clark State College.
On July 24 (new date from what was originally announced), a workshop on “General Resources to Start a Business and Expansion” will be held at the Kamiah Chamber Building, located at 518 Main St. The workshop runs 6-7:30 p.m. and has a $5 fee. Instructors John Lane and Gavin Lewis will give direction and steps of action to starting a business. The workshop is limited to 20 students.
On July 19, a social media workshop will be held at the Riggins City Council Chambers, located at 126 N. Main St., at 6-8 p.m., MDT. Lewis is the instructor and there is a $10 fee with a maximum of 15 participants. The workshop will show how to extend market reach and find new customers using Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. The workshop will show the ins and outs of these three social media platforms and how to engage people.
