LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College’s Continuing Education program is accepting nominations through Dec. 14 for its second annual Women in Leadership Award, which honors two local women.
The award honors a woman from the LCSC campus and one from the public. Recipients serve as a role model to other women and girls, give back to the community or profession through time and talent, advocate for positive change to close the leadership gap for women, and exemplify leadership in their field of expertise. LCSC recipients also should demonstrate a commitment to the mission of LCSC and higher education,
Nominations are open to all but an official nomination form must be filled out and submitted by Dec. 14 in order to be considered.
The two winners will be announced at the LCSC Women’s Leadership Conference, which is scheduled for March 8, 2019. Last year’s inaugural winners were Colleen Mahoney from the community and Kathy Martin at LCSC.
