LEWISTON, Idaho – Boston comedian Orlando Baxter will bring his unusual adult humor to Lewis-Clark State College when he performs on April 3 at 8 p.m. at the Silverthorne Theatre. His performance is free and open to the public, but because of the adult content, attendees must be 18 years of age or older to attend.
Baxter is a former high school teacher who found comedy as a way to relate to students. In 2005, he began performing comedy routines and quickly established himself as one of Boston’s up and coming comics. His perspective and ability to relate to the audience led him to become a finalist at several comedy competitions, including NBC’s “Stand Up For Diversity,” and comedy festivals in Boston, Montreal, Johannesburg, South Africa, Melbourne, Australia, and Edinburgh, Scotland.
In 2016, Baxter made his late night TV debut on the TBS show “Conan.” Since then, he’s been on “Comedy Up Late” in Australia, BET’s “50 Central” and Tru TV’s “Laff Mobb’s Laff Track.” He also has appeared in a couple of national TV commercials.
Baxter is currently on a tour of the United States, performing at clubs, colleges and festivals.
