LEWISTON, Idaho – A variety of free health tests will be available during the Lewis-Clark State College Health Screening & Wellness Fair on Thursday, April 14, at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. outside the main entrance to the Student Union Building/Center for Student Leadership.
The fair is open to the public and no appointment is necessary, but depending on the number of attendees, there could be a wait at some of the screening areas.
Screenings and tests that are scheduled for the event include breast cancer prevention and imaging, body composition, body mass index, bone density heel scans, blood pressure, hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), diabetes, glucose and oral health. There also will be information on smoking and vaping prevention and healthy pregnancy education.
In addition, the fair will include activities for behavioral and mental health.
The event is sponsored by the Physical, Life, Movement & Sport Sciences Division and the Nursing & Health Sciences Division at LC State.
