LEWISTON, Idaho – A variety of events that include everything from a tailgate party to a career fair will be a part of the 8th annual Lewis-Clark State College Homecoming Week, which is scheduled Oct. 3-8 and has the theme “Paint the town Navy and Red.”
All events are open to the public and are free of charge unless otherwise noted. Anyone planning to attend is asked to register online at www.lcsc.edu/homecoming. All who register can receive a free Homecoming T-shirt, but a person must register in order to receive the T-shirt.
The week features a variety of games, food, Warrior athletic events, and community events. All community members are encouraged to wear navy and/or red during the week.

LC STATE HOMECOMING SCHEDULE
MONDAY-FRIDAY, OCT. 3-8
- Flag Find – Each day, a card will be hidden on campus and there will be clues posted where to find the card on LC State alumni social media accounts. The individual who finds the card each day must take it to the LC State Advancement Office, located at 602 11th Ave. in Lewiston to receive that day’s prize package.
TUESDAY, OCT. 4
- LC State Faculty/Staff Alumni Lunch | Noon | Williams Conference Center – All LC State faculty and staff who are alumni of the college are invited to attend a lunch in their honor. Those planning to attend should register by Sept. 28, to reserve a spot and be entered to win LC State swag.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 5
- Warrior Wednesday | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – LC State divisions, along with student clubs and organizations, will have tables set up outside the Student Union Building and will offer information about degree programs and clubs. Homecoming shirts will be available for pick up if individuals have pre-registered online.
- Pep Rally | 5 p.m. | Sub Amphitheater – The Warrior dance team and members of the volleyball and cross country teams will give away free prizes during the pep rally.
- Shopping Cart Races | 5:15 p.m. (following Pep Rally) – Three people are needed for a team, two people to push the shopping cart and one person to ride in the cart over a track. Any team interested must preregister for the race and the team captain must attend a safety briefing on Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m.
THURSDAY, OCT. 6
- LC State Career Fair | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | P1FCU Activity Center – Several area and Pacific Northwest representatives will be on hand to show the different employment opportunities they have.
- Ms. LC | 7 p.m. | Silverthorne Theatre – LC State student contestants will share their talents and also will have a question and answer session during this competition to crown a Ms. LC. There will be prizes for the fan favorite and judges will choose an overall winner.
FRIDAY, OCT. 7
- All-Campus Photo | 1 p.m. | Library Lawn – All LC State students, faculty and staff are asked to gather at this time for a group photo.
- Faculty/Staff vs. Student Kickball Game | 1:15 p.m. (following all campus photo) | Library Lawn – The annual game features faculty and staff against the students. Faculty and staff should register to participate by emailing Tate Smith at ttsmith@lcsc.edu. Students register by emailing aslcsc@lcsc.edu.
- Music Building Open House | 4-6 p.m. | Music Building, near the steam stack on campus – The new LC State Music Building, which used to be the art building, is being remodeled. Check out the updates and meet with faculty and staff.
- Hospitality Management Tours| 4-6 p.m. | Mechanical Technical Building, Room 105 – Tour the new home of the Hospitality Management Program on the LC State campus.
- Downtown Art Walk | 4-9 p.m. | Beautiful Downtown Lewiston – The LC State Center for Arts & History, located at 415 Main St. in Lewiston, will be part of the Lewiston Downtown Art Walk. The Center will have its exhibitions open to view and there is a Nimiipuu Opening Ceremony and performance at 5:30 p.m. at Brackenbury Square. Several downtown businesses will be open along with artist displays and other performances.
- Warrior Fan Fest | 5-6:30 p.m. | Outside Activity Center West – The event features food and drink available for purchase, yard games, face painting, poster making, Warrior athletic teams, live music provided by LC State Alumni band, Delta Brews, and more. Dinner will be available to purchase through Sodexo and Homecoming shirts will be available for pick up if individuals have registered online.
- LC State volleyball vs. Southern Oregon University | 7 p.m. | P1FCU Activity Center – If registered for homecoming, tickets are $5 for adult general admission and $3 for senior/non-LC State student/Veteran/Active Duty Armed Forces general admission.
SATURDAY, OCT. 8
- LC State Cross Country Invitational | 10:30 a.m.| LC State Cross Country Trail, Lewiston Community Park – Cheer on the Warrior cross country teams at their only home meet of the year. The Warrior Athletic Association will be serving hot chocolate and caramel apples.
- Downtown Art Walk | Noon-4 p.m. | Beautiful Downtown Lewiston – The LC State Center for Arts & History, located at 415 Main St. in Lewiston, will be part of the Lewiston Downtown Art Walk. - Alumni & Friends Tailgate | 3-4:30 p.m. | Harris Field Breezeway – Gather before the LC State volleyball match for appetizers and a no-host bar. Tickets are $20 each and include appetizers and a ticket to the volleyball match.
- LC State volleyball vs. Southern Oregon University | 7 p.m. | P1FCU Activity Center – If registered for homecoming, tickets are $5 for adult general admission and $3 for senior/non-LC State student/Veteran/Active Duty Armed Forces general admission.
