LC State to welcome new students to campus on Aug. 6 and 16

LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewis-Clark State College is scheduled to welcome new students to campus with New Student Orientation events on Aug. 6 and 16.  

All degree-seeking students are invited to both events which will provide incoming students with the ability to walk their course schedule and hear welcoming remarks from LC State President Cynthia Pemberton, and Senior Vice President/Vice President for Student Affairs Andy Hanson.  

The Aug. 6 event will take place from 4:30-7 p.m. in the Williams Conference Center and was designed with adult learners and transfer students in mind. A resource fair with representatives from various LC State offices and a dinner/information session will be held for students attending the first event. Students attending will also receive their WarriorOne Card this day.  

Aug. 16 attendees will participate in an all-day event with check-in opening at 7:45 a.m. at the P1FCU Activity Center. The day will conclude with an advisor check-in from 2-4 p.m. in Reid Centennial Hall, Room 208. Additional activities will include a convocation ceremony, small group sessions, family and friends sessions, a division information session, invitation-based scholar events, lunch, an international student welcome, and a group photo. 

Residence hall move-in is scheduled for August 14.
