Kinesiology
Study the human body, discover its underlying principles, and help yourself and others stay healthy.
Kinesiology explores the art and science and human movement. Students learn about the human body and its potential as well as the relationship between positive lifestyle choices and long-term improvements in health and well-being. In looking ahead, the projected need for jobs is topped by the health care industry, so jobs in the leisure, fitness and recreation service areas are expected to be in high demand. LC State offers different emphasis areas to tailor the Kinesiology degree to particular specializations. Students must pick one area of emphasis to earn their degree. Choose from coaching, exercise science and health occupations, health and fitness, secondary education, or sports studies.
