Native American Studies
Enhance your ability to think in non-traditional, non-Western ways and interact more effectively with diverse peoples.
This minor is designed to enrich, complement, and/or supplement the formal education of a student’s major. It is not solely, or even primarily, for Social Science majors. The program includes anthropology classes on Native Americans, English classes on oral and written literature, history classes on the Nez Perce Tribe and U.S. policies, and Nez Perce language.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at LC State. Both inside and outside the classroom ... I was genuinely pleased to have small class sizes and the ability to build a rapport with my professors.” - Andrew Corsberg ‘13
