LC Cares is a committee made up of students, staff, and faculty. They can be seen on campus collecting gifts and provisions for families in need during the holiday season, as well as needs drives during natural disasters.

This committee consists of PSO, CSO, and Faculty Senate representatives, along with other members of LC State Administrative Services. CRC provides analyses and recommendations regarding employee compensation.

This committee serves to represent PSO in the strategic planning process. Members attend an assigned campus unit FAC meeting and observe as Unit Action Plans (UAP) are presented. The committee reconvenes as a whole after all UAP presentations are complete.

PSO mentors work with the Mentor Program by providing an opportunity for seasoned staff to share their knowledge and experience with new staff.

The previous year's award winner works with the PSO to obtain nominations for the current year's awardee, assists with the voting process, and presents the award packet to the Provost’s office.

This committee works together to brainstorm ideas for new professional development offerings on campus.

This committee meets as the need arises to formally address employee grievances following the provisions set forth in the LC State grievance procedures. 

Comprised of 7 PSO members serving a two-year term; the purpose and policy for the Board is outlined in LC State's Policy & Procedures manual.
