Parking Permit FAQ
Parking permits are required to park in any LCSC campus parking lot.

Parking permits can be registered for and paid for online: https://www.lcsc.edu/public-safety/parking-services and must be picked up at the LCSC Department of Public Safety. If you did not pay online but submitted the vehicle information, you can pay in-person with cash, card, or check.
Parking permits are not transferrable to another vehicle. You must purchase an ‘additional’ permit for $25. Submit the new vehicle information online, pay for the permit and pick up the permit sticker in the Department of Public Safety Office.
The Department of Public Safety can provide a temporary pass for up to two weeks. Stop by our office in MLH 110 to pick one up. If additional time is needed, we can evaluate on a case-by-case basis. You must have a current permit purchased to receive a temporary permit.
Remove the permit from the windshield and return it to our office. We will replace it for free. If you do not return the permit, then you will need to purchase a ‘replacement’ permit.
All vehicles parked in metered spaces must pay the meter even those with parking permits. The only exception is those with a handicap placard.
The Department of Public Safety does not send out notifications when a permit is ready. The last page of the registration form states that permits must be picked up in our office and to allow 24-48 hours for processing.
Parking permits are required to park in an LCSC parking lot. A one-week grace period (first week of classes) in which to purchase and affix a parking permit to the interior lower left corner of the windshield. If you do not have a permit, please park off campus.
Parking permit required signs are posted near the entrance of each parking lot.
Stop by our office located in MLH 110 (accessed from the outside of the building) and we would be happy to provide a temp pass.
Instructions state that permits are to be adhered to the lower left corner inside the windshield.
Vehicles parked in a handicap space without properly displaying a handicap placard or license plate will be ticketed.
