About Living and Learning Community

Located one block south east of campus, the Living and Learning Community comes fully furnished with common area furniture and bedroom furniture in a sleeping porch style housing, plus a range of outdoor items to help provide a comfortable experience.

The goal of this community is to support students for success through the community built in the dorm, and common interests of the residents to build a supportive environment that enhances the students college experience.

Students who live in these houses will have a common interest that will help enrich their living experience by sharing a space with other students who share in that same interest.

Residence Life provides some basic small appliances and a few dishes, pots and pans, and silverware. Students need to supplement items that they need.

Residence Life has furnished all the rooms in the house, with the residents comfort in mind. Decorations reflect the this with couches, tables, chairs, ping pong, foosball, so they can gather in group settings for activities that enrich the house

Each study room comes furnished with closets/wardrobes for each student sharing the space. There are also desks/chairs for the residents to utilize to study in a quiet space.

The sleeping porch is furnished with beds and mattresses. The sleeping porch is designed to be a quiet space where students can rest in comfort without distractions or noise. 24 hour quiet time in this space.
