Leadership Opportunities

Did you visit campus and have the opportunity to tour a room with a guide? Would you like to be a guide for us to help prospective future students see the dorms? We also need students to host prospective students every now and then. If you are interested inbeing a tour guide  or if you would like to host a prospective student, please call the Residence Life office.

An RA is a student leader who lives on a floor and helps create community, plan programs and activities, and helps make sure people follow the rules. Interested in becoming an RA? The application process starts in January to hire staff for the next year, so look for the flyers that will be put up around the halls and emails for information about applying.  Applicants need to have a 2.5 GPA or higher and must have good judicial standing. 

An RD is someone who was an RA for at least a year, has a 2.75 GPA or higher and has demonstrated leadership and supervision qualities. The RD selection process happens at the same time as the RA selection process.
