Spring Writing Contest
The Pathfinder is hosting a spring writing contest!
Submit a 400 - 1500 word creative fiction story for the chance to win $100 worth of LC State swag!
There will only be one winner (second place will win $50 worth of swag and third will get $25 worth of swag), which will be featured in The Pathfinder.
We look forward to reading work from future authors!
Rules: Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Each applicant can submit one story that reaches or exceeds 1000 words. The word limit for entries is 5000 words. Any submission that exceeds 5000 words will not be considered. Please do not reuse previously written stories. This contest is open to LCSC students, faculty, and staff.

The theme is: First Snowfall. Yes, the theme was inspired by the Falling for Fall photography contest. What stories can you come up with that have to do with falling snow? Is it the ending to an epic saga? A story that will bring readers to tears? A bittersweet romantic ending? You decide!
