About Amy
I have been teaching for almost 27 years and LOVE what I do. I teach mostly composition courses as well as some communication and first-year experiences classes. I earned my bachelor and master of arts degrees from the University of Idaho. I later earned my post-baccalaureate degree from Lewis-Clark State College in secondary education English. Now I am pursuing a paralegal degree.
I am passionate about designing high quality open educational resources and the access they afford learners. I love hanging out and taking care of my family. And when I am not gardening, I'm thinking about my next gardening project.
My mantra is never stop learning; never stop growing from new experiences.
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying 'I will try again tomorrow.'" - Mary Anne Radmacher
