How to send Invite through Bookings?

Microsoft Bookings is similar to Youcanbookme and allows students to select an available appointment based on your calendar availability.

When you define your service offerings in Microsoft Bookings, you set a service name, description, location (choose whether you want to meet in person or have an online meeting), duration, default reminders to customers and staff.  The best part is that Bookings can be configured to automatically send a Teams meeting link for any online appointments.

Learn more about Bookings and how to create your own Bookings calendar or contact the Help Desk for more information.

How to send an Invite through Outlook?

You can send a Teams meeting invite to anyone from your Outlook calendar. When in your calendar in Outlook, click the button at the top that says “New Teams Meeting”.

When the recipient gets the email, the invite can be added to their calendar and they will be able to click the link to be taken to page that gives them the option for how to open Teams when you are ready to meet.

If meeting with a non-LCSC employee, we strongly recommend they that person uses the "Continue on this browser" option to open the meeting in their web browser. This prevents them from needing to download anything or create an account.
