Teacher Education Degrees

Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) began developing a reputation for its teacher education program over a century ago. To this day, LCSC offers students Elementary and Secondary Teacher Education Programs that are refined annually to exceed the latest expectations and standards for teachers. Graduates of the LCSC Teacher Education Program find employment because of their experience, skills, and the reputation of their alma mater as an excellent teacher preparation institution.

Mastery-Based Pathway

This program is designed to prepare individuals with a bachelor’s degree to become fully certified teachers. The program is completed online with support from mentors and instructors while working full-time in the classroom.

Early Childhood Education

Earn a certificate, AAS degree or bachelor's degree to become a qualified educator in the field of Early Childhood Education working with children ages zero to five. All coursework is available completely online.

Early Childhood Development AAS

An AAS degree is the minimum requirement in high-quality early childhood programs to obtain a lead teacher position.

General Studies: ECE BA/BS

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education leads to more opportunities and leadership positions in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Mathematics Degrees

Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) is proud of its small but passionate mathematics program. Our mathematics students study Mathematics and Mathematics – Secondary Education, and many students majoring in other areas earn a Minor in Mathematics. Our math graduates have employment opportunities in a variety of STEM fields. Graduates of the math program at LCSC successfully enter graduate school or find employment due to their skills, enthusiasm, and persistent problem-solving ability.
